This assignment requires students to demonstrate the ability to professionally present a critical analysis of current dilemmas in social work practice. Each student will be assigned a practice case to review and will present on an ethical issue in the case. The document ethical-dilemmas macro social work practice-1.pdf contains ethical dilemmas. There are a number of resources for steps to critical thinking. Ive attached one here that has a six-step process. You are free to use this model, you are also free to choose any other model. In an assignment like this, you will likely have at least two to three references, NASW ethical principles, a critical thinking model, and perhaps one of the additional models you with find in my ppt on ethical decision-making (ETHIC, Reamer, etc.). For paper length, you do not need to go to great lengths to describe the scenario, so maybe 1/2 page. The critical thinking is likely to take two additional pages. With introductions, transitions, and a conclusion, I should think 3-4 pages would be sufficient.
