You are to select an individual whom you believe, based on the content of the course, exhibits the six Global Leader Competencies. As we have learned in the course, all individuals exhibit these competencies to varying degrees. Your task is to select a person whom you believe approximates the capacities weve explored in class, but you are expected to use your analysis to validate or invalidate your assumptions about this individual.
The competencies are:
The capacity for Self-Transformation
The capacity of the Contextual Self
The capacity for Omnicompetence
The capacity for Reframing the Gifts of Spiritual Leadership
The capacity for Ethnorelativism
The capacity for the Transcendence of Paradox and Ambiguity
Specifically, you will prepare an 6 -10 page paper (content only, not including bibliography, cover sheet, etc.) with the following components:
1. A brief introduction and historical background to the person you have selected, that also includes your rationale for the selection **(I will rewrite the introduction portion, but I would love help with how to begin and format it)***
2. An analysis of this person through each of the six Global Leader Competencies. In the analysis you will need to:
a. Identify the assumption of the competency you are addressing. **( I have attached the PPTs with the assumptions for each capacity)***
b. Provide examples of the persons actions that support your analysis
c. Indicate your assessment of what stage of development the individual exhibits on the Global Leadership Development Pyramid. (Your examples should justify your assertion of this assessment.)
3. A brief section on which capacity this person exhibits that you aspire to the most, and the capacity that you have the most difficulty achieving. Please explain on both counts.
4. A conclusion that brings the persons Global Leadership into focus as a whole, the impact of that leadership, and your own concluding remarks.
Please prepare your paper thoughtfully and integrate all the course’s key ideas, concepts, texts, readings, and related material to carry out your analysis. It is very important to cite appropriately (APA 7th edition), provide a cover page, and a reference list, use APA formatting style by using headings, and number the pages of your paper. The paper should be double-spaced
