Introduction
The term LGBTQ stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer and they are part of sexuality indifferent people in the society. In todays society almost everybody can be able to identify a person within their realm that identifies with this group and this goes to show that they are an important part of the society (Ryan, Huebner, Diaz, & Sanchez, 2009). Though this is the case there still certain countries that have made a person identifying as homosexual or bisexual as illegal because they deem people engaging in acts such as sodomy as ungodly and not what is expected in the society. The LGBTQ group is quite a vulnerable group and has been faced with a number of discriminatory acts in the quest to do away with them in the society, but the underlying reality is that the LGBTQ community is made up by people from our society: our neighbors, our family members and many people close to us (Walker, 2006). The democracies that apply to every person should also apply to them and their sexuality should not be a point of conflict as long as they are decent human beings.
