Master Baiters is a start-up bait and tackle for all peopleThis is the problem
Master Baiters is a start-up bait and tackle for all people who enjoy the outdoors and wetting a line, no matter the salt content of the water they prefer to fish in. To ensure we do everything in our power to aid this client and provide outstanding service, let’s look at the problems we have been hired to elevate. As a start-up, it is essential that methods are explored to increase the number of new and returning clientele. These methods could include marketing or general customer enthusiasm for our client’s products and services. Part of increasing customer satisfaction lies in collecting accurate and helpful information concerning the preferences of every individual who chooses to visit the store or take advantage of the online shopping option. We are tasked with the implementation of a database to collect and sort customer data, including names, addresses, fishing preferences, and purchase history, along with other helpful information that could be used to increase the satisfaction level of the customer. Collection of this data is only the first step to solving this issue; as we all know, data is useless if it cannot be analyzed for use to provide the customer with a better experience and increased sales. While it is necessary to increase traffic to the physical store, establishing an online customer interface that is user-friendly and easy to use will be instrumental to the success of this project. Master Baiters has an extensive inventory list, so the customer portal should provide a quick and seamless location of those products the individual is looking for and suggestions of items that may interest the customer. Because the inventory list is so extensive and broad, this young company has had difficulty implementing a system of command and control over the available inventory. We should develop and design an inventory control system that is as automated as possible to remove the possibility of human error in the counting and restocking process.
What needs to be done from the section above:
identify potential project management and SDLC (system development life cycle) challenges and elaborate on mitigation strategies for each in order to ensure that the rollout of the business solution goes smoothly. Include a high-level project plan with key activities for each main phase of the project.
