We’re an insurance brokerage in Portland, OR. We need help with an insurance commissions statement we receive from one of the carriers we work with. We receive this commission statement every month so we’d like a solution that we can re-use every month. The report is generated from the carriers system and the only format available is PDF format. The data in PDF format isn’t editable and we’d like to be able to work with the numbers. We tried exporting the PDF to Excel but the resulting spreadsheet is full of extra columns, merged cells, multiple columns/rows of data within the same merged cell, etc. I’ve attached an example.
