OVERVIEW
Contemporary Issues Journal 1 is an opportunity for you to explore recent events in the news related to course content, analyze the articles you find, compare coverage of events from different international perspectives, and describe personal connections design.
REQUIREMENTS
Find recent news articles describing events related to cultural diversity and design. Summarize, compare, and contrast your articles, and describe how they connect to any or all of the course principles and concepts covered in Week 1: The Values of interior Design, Week 2: Design Thinking, Systems Thinking, and Design Process, Week 3:
Global Challenges and Perspectives, and Week 4: Human Centered Design At the end of your entry, take a few minutes to describe any personal connections you have to the events you selected.
Compose a 3-5 page journal entry formatted on 8.5”x 11″ paper (portrait). When you have completed the entry, save your document in pdf format and upload to the creation part of the Kritik assignment. The journal entry must include the following elements: (see Rubric for further information)
