BMAN21020 Financial Reporting & Accountability Essay
One of the most important skills for you to develop during your time at University is essay writing. Many of the marks in the exams, your coursework assessments and after your studies will be based on how well you can explain yourself.
We are setting this essay to give you the chance, not only to practice your essay writing, but to develop your assessment literacy enabling you to see what your assessors are looking for when they mark essays. If you can start to see your work through an examiner’s eyes this will have a significant impact on the grades you will be able to achieve.
The essay is due to be submitted on Blackboard via Turnitin which will automatically check for plagiarism. The latest deadline for assessment is submission before Monday 21st November at 12 noon- however, we would highly recommend that you submit your essay well in advance of this date. All essays submitted will be shared anonymously with other students so that you can learn from each other.
Some of you have repeated this exercise in the previous academic year, so you might be more familiar with this process. However, the best trick to improve your essay writing skills is one: Practice!
