The Assignment This assignment asks you to summarize the entire essay, What We Really Miss About the 1950s, and then analyze a significant piece of evidence from it. 1. Provide a one-paragraph summary of Coontzs essay * Introduce the essay with full attribution: Authors full name and article title * Locate and summarize her main points by paraphrasing * Only use the authors last name * Cite each paraphrase in-text using MLA: (LastName Page#) or Lastname in sentence (#). * End with an explanation of the authors overarching claim 2. Identify one important moment in the text and explore the significance of the textual evidence in a solid 5-7 sentence paragraph.
