Analyse the concept and use it from a ‘positive’ perspective – what are the advantages (in theory and in application) of the concept Think of the favourable outcomes that an organisation might derive from the application of this management concept and be sure to explain why. Provide examples of advantageous uses of the concept in the ‘real’ world. 3. Provide a critique of the concept – what are the disadvantages (in theory and in application) of the concept, providing examples of problems or concerns in the implementation of the concept in the ‘real’ world. 4. Establish “linkages” between your concept and any other concept(s) taught in the course. (For example, if ‘business ethics’ is your main management concept, you could think about how a culture of poor managerial ethics potentially impact on employee motivation).
