Assessment criteria:
This assignment will be marked using the marking criteria for written work.
Further guidance:
Assessment criteria can be found on KEATS. Please consult the appropriate criteria for the type of
assessment (as noted above).
Please use Harvard (author, date) referencing in your final blog post. If you are referencing literature in
your formative blog post, you may wish to provide hyperlinks to this.
References count towards your overall word-count, as do sub-headings. Your bibliography (which you
must include) and cover page (for the final Word or PDF document submission) do not count towards
your word-count.
Please use the standard cover page (found on KEATS) for all written submissions. The cover page includes
your candidate number (e.g. A12345), the due date, word-count, and title of the assignment (‘Blog
Assignment’). Final submissions should be completely anonymised and only identifiable by your candidate
number.
Submit the final document on KEATS using the Assignment Tool on the module page. The title of your
submission should only be your candidate number (e.g. A12345) unless otherwise stated. Please submit
documents as either Word documents or PDFs. Guidance and training on how to use the Assessment Tool
can be found on KEATS.
For written assessments, going over the word-count range by >10% will incur an automatic 10-point
reduction in your overall mark. Going over the word-count range by >20% will incur a mark of 0. Going
under the minimum word count does not incur an automatic penalty, but you may lose points for lacking
depth of analysis.
Any further questions should be directed to the module lead.
