Final Exam for: MATH2021 This is a short release take-home exam. Open-book exams do not permit the use of third party communication or collaboration apps or websites. Access to any such app or website is strictly prohibited during your exam and is a serious academic integrity breach. Date of exam: 7/6/2022 Start: 17:00 Sydney, Australia time (Links to an external site.) Duration: 2 hours and 35 minutes (155 minutes). This includes: 10 minutes of reading time, but you can start writing whenever you are ready– you are strongly encouraged to use this time to carefully plan and structure your response before you start writing. 25 minutes of upload time to allow you to upload your files as per your exam instructions. Do NOT treat this as extra writing time. The upload time must be used solely to save and upload your files correctly as per the exam instructions. Manage your time carefully. Check that you have saved and named your file correctly and uploaded the correct file. If your time runs out while you are uploading this is not considered a technical issue. Please keep track of your time. Use the time on your computer so that you always know how much time you have left. If you have an academic adjustment, it has been added automatically. You should read the questions, complete your solutions on paper in a black or blue pen, and upload your solutions (one pdf or docx file per question). You should attempt all questions and follow the instructions for each question carefully. You may use lecture notes, tutorial sheets, your personal notes, and textbooks. Note that extensive searching wastes valuable time, and so it is recommended that you have your notes well organised before the examination. Materials provided and further instructions: This is an individual exam, and no discussion or collaboration is permitted. Any such activities is serious academic misconduct. Write in pen not pencil, and upload your solution for each question as a separate file. Show all necessary working and proofs. You may quote theorems from the course without proof, unless of course you are explicitly asked to prove them. However please clearly state which theorems you are applying.
