For this part of the assignment, in a FULL 1-2 page paper, describe your event. Questions to
consider in your write up:
what happened
why are you studying it (address why it is worth studying)
where did it happen
who did it affect
how did it happen (are there any interesting weather features to consider?)
what kind of preparation or warning was given
what, if any fallout occurred, and
what was learned from the event.
As we become more connected as a world, the human component, (social, economic,
mortality) is worth discussing. You dont have to answer all the questions, but I should get a
sense of what the project will accomplish.
Be sure to include at least 3 references that you will use in the paper and presentation.
Cite in either APA or MLA format. Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, double space,
with 1 inch margins.
A full page means to the end of the page and potentially a line onto the next page. Not
meeting length requirements will be a loss of a full letter grade on the assignment.
