As an “interstellar visitor”, it impresses astronomers with its unique hyperbolic trajectory and provides an important role for scientists to study the solar system and other galaxies. Interstellar comets are comets that are in interstellar space and are not bound by the gravitational pull of stars. Among them, Interstellar Comet 2I/Borisov was discovered by Gennady Borisov on August 30, 2019. After the Astronomical Union named it, it officially declared it to be an interstellar comet. It is the second interstellar object discovered by scientists to break into the solar system. 2I/Borisov’s nucleus is surrounded by coma, dust, and gas clouds. Because the nucleus is obscured, which means it is difficult to estimate its size. Its trajectory is extremely hyperbolic, and its eccentricity and velocity are much higher than known weak hyperbolic comets.
