There has been a lot of valuable information presented within this course and the corresponding discussions. I personally think that the two most valuable pieces of information pertain to the actions of how administrative staff must conduct their daily tasks ethically and morally. This can be done through proper education, training, and other approaches like community feedback in town hall meetings. The other valuable piece of information is how administrator must allow for disciplinary actions to occur when any officer commits any actions that are deemed misconduct or can be determined as unethical or immoral. All the while providing the officials with the capability to adjust protocols, rules, regulations, and procedures that permit the appropriate actions of all members of any law enforcement agency no matter the size or complexity. By reinforcing the appropriate behaviors and actions of officers, it allocates for strengthening of the bonds that are shared between law enforcement and members of the community in which they serve. Therefore, I think it is important that administrators hold their officers and employees to a higher standard to project and model great citizenship through contact with others around them.
