Choose a passage on the Priesthood of christ and discernment of a vocation. The major paper is on a major NT theme. It will analyze this theme using 1-2 passages (for example Matthew 5: 2-4) and the tools we are learning in class. This discussion tries to get the ball rolling. We will do the following this week: 1. In a detailed paragraph, explain your proposed term paper topic. The description of the assignment is in the doc sharing area. It will be a detailed analysis of 1 NT passage based on a theme of your interest. Write this as an interesting thesis statement or a specific question to be answered. Then include a description of why you are interested in this topic and some of the possible applications to our contemporary world might be. The passage should not be too long (perhaps 2-5 verses tops).
