Develop a question and answer it in a essay format: 1. The question must relate to an important issue on gerontology. 2. The question should not deal with program or services. 3. The question cannot be the same as a question that I have posted for the discussions. 4. Develop your answer using material from journals and other sources to support your answer. All material you use must be cited in the APA reference style.
In your answer present two alternative approaches to the answer. In other words, you could cite two opposing viewpoints about the answer. An example would be if the question was about the maximum length of time that humans can live. One answer citing some biological theory and statistics could be that there is no limit. A contrasting approach citing some research could be that there is a maximum. The grade will be based on: a. The quality of the question (7 points). b. The quality of the discussion and analysis (8 points) Discussion and analysis that does not include support from journals and other sources will be downgraded Discussion and analysis in the answer that does not present alternative viewpoints will be downgraded c.
