The No Child Left Behind act goals were meant to help introduce and
acclimate students into understanding and utilizing technology but also
to help push for this need in various schools such as primary
“elementary schools’ and secondary “high schools.” This act is helped
to ensure that the school faculties are well educated and versed in
understanding how to operate newer technological advancements in schools
to then teach students. . Point 1: The general purpose of the act was to help ensure that
student academic achievement would be improved throughout primary and
secondary schools. This is a direct aim to utilize technology to explore
new and form of education to help benefit students. One way I
personally remember this application was the ability to type adequately
on a computer in elementary and middle school. This was a very basic
lesson but it was lesson that for someone who primarily conducts
assignments with pencils and paper like myself I had to embrace and a
new method. While I learned this new method my teachers had to learn an
appropriate method of how to teach this material to other twenty five
students. Point 2: As stated in the “Additional goal B” This acts main focus
was to help assist and educate the students as well as the students in
order for you to convey the material you need a proficient and competent
educators that can provide these lessons. As well as creating a
universal practices that state and local educational agencies may both
be able to follow.
