State your research topic and your primary disciplinary perspective.
Then, reflect on 1-2 other disciplinary perspectives that could enhance your project. Conduct a library search on your research topic + another discipline (e.g., if your topic is campus safety from the perspective of psychology, you might search campus safety + marketing or campus safety + gender studies).
Browse the results and answer the following: What sorts of new questions, methods, or insights does this additional disciplinary perspective provide? How does this interdisciplinary perspective strengthen or add to your research?
