3. Describe briefly the article. It can be the first sentence of your introduction.
4. Write the introduction. Use the third person and write in a formal and academic style. It should be 10-
20% of your review.
5. End with your own thesis.
6. Summarize the article. Refrain from using too many direct quotes. Make sure your summary is faithful to
the article.
7. Write your evaluation following your outline.
8. Conclude your review: summary of main points of the article and your opinions about its significance,
accuracy and clarity. Must be at least 10% of the review.
9. Proofread. Look for grammar, spelling and usage mistakes. Cut unneeded information.
