Hi. I need to present a proposal of my bachelor thesis and its primary sources. I am writing my bachelor thesis in the field of literary studies. I want to look at the book by Dorothy B. Hughes in a lonely place, here is a very short summary: In a Lonely Place follows Dix Steele, a former pilot and serial killer in post-WWII Los Angeles. He pretends to be a writer and starts a relationship with Laurel Gray. His friend, police officer Brub Nicolai, and Brubs wife Sylvia, grow suspicious. Steele is eventually caught after Laurel and Sylvia expose him. I want to make a connection between post war trauma and toxic masculinity in a post war society. Another book I want to mention is also by the same Author ride the pink horse which has the same themes of post war violence. Please feel free to to add whatever information and literature you can find. Please dont make it sound too formal otherwise my professor will notice its not my work.
