The
Diverse Populations paper will involve you selecting one of the theories or
approaches discussed in class and to do a literature review on the utility or
generalizability of this theory or approach to diverse populations. As you will
note during the course, most theorists covered are Caucasian males of European
descent. Your paper should, drawing upon not only your reflections but also a
scholarly review, highlight the strengths and limitations of the theory you
have selected. The paper should be done in APA format and include a title page
with running head and page numbers, an introduction section indicating why
you’re topic is important, a results section in which you highlight some of the
findings of your literature review, and a discussion section in which you
synthesize your findings and include your thoughts on how good a fit this
theory or approach would be for you to utilize, and a reference section. The
body of the paper (excluding references) should be 8-10 pages and formatted
completely according to APA publication guidelines.
