1. Activity Modeling
Use an activity diagram to design the business activities and their relationship. You need to
consider how the DVD store will operate. Factors to consider include but not limited to: 1.
How do customers order DVDs online; 2. How does the store procure (order) DVDs when out
of stock; 3. How is the receipt of inventory handled and managed; 4. How is customer
returned merchandise handled (i.e., inventory, customer credit, etc); 5. How will customers
shipments be handled; 6. How is customer billing handled; 7. How do vendors get paid. 5.
What forms of payment does the store accept (check, credit/debit cards etc.); 8. How do
customers know what products are available; 9. Other operations and activities not listed
here but within the HW project scope. Note: the first draft is due a week before the
assignment is handed in (see syllabus). The draft is not graded and should be done using
pencil and paper. The draft ensures 1. The HW gets started early; 2. Provides opportunity
to get answers to questions you may have before the due date. 3. You have one more week
to complete using Visio and submit it in PDF
