The research proposal paper should include the following:
Clear introduction of your chosen research topic, including the problem and purpose statements, an analytical integrative review of relevant literature, and a discussion of 1-2 key gaps or limitations identified in this literature
Clear specification of your key research questions and/or hypotheses (Note: Hypotheses are optional and only applicable in quantitative research)
A detailed account of your proposed research study, including the selected research approach, design, and methodological aspects, i.e., your expected data sources, data collection activities, and data analysis procedures.
Discussion of two strengths and two weaknesses related to validity and/or reliability issues associated with your proposed research study
Recommendation of two strategies for addressing each of the two weaknesses concerning validity and/or reliability issues associated with your proposed research study
The main body of your research proposal paper is required to be 12-15 pages long. Please include a cover page, an abstract page, a references list, and any appendices in your paper.
