Journal Articles Synthesis Paper Purpose: To enhance your critical thinking skills and integrate knowledge, values and skills integral to generalist social work practice. Instructions: Students will read 3 articles that will be provided by your seminar instructor. Your task will be to assemble a 5-page typed paper that synthesizes your analysis of the articles. Include the following in your analysis: In the first paragraph, identify which research approach/methodology authors used. Whats the authors point/position, and does it seem valid? Explainmajor findings? What data collection method(s) did the authors use? (e.g. interviews, survey, observation, lit. review ) Which sample size was used? What design was used? (e.g., longitudinal, cross-sectional, comparison groups ) How was data presented? (e.g., charts, graphs, discussion section, overall readability ) The 3 required articles are listed below.
