We have previously discussed that, by definition, projects are unique activities. As a result, due to inherent uncertainty, it is not possible to precisely predetermine the level of effort that will be required to complete any given project.
Given this fact, can you suggest why, prior to starting the project, it may / may not be worthwhile to invest time to develop project estimates? Provide examples of how approaches presented in your reading would assist in the budgeting process, or suggest examples where the approaches would not be helpful
