Weather related surveillance systems are becoming more common in public health practice. In Texas, Heat Related Illness is now part of surveillance at many health departments. One example is the Tarrant County HRI surveillance (https://access.tarrantcounty.com/en/public-health/disease-control-and-prevention/epidemiology-and-health-information/health-data-and-information/heat-related-illness/current-hri-reports.html (Links to an external site.)). After reviewing some of the reports from the site above, do you think this condition is conducive to PH surveillance? What is the strongest and weakest component of this surveillance system?
Answer the questions above and justify your response using the information you have learned about surveillance thus far in the course including the criteria for identifying a condition for public health surveillance
