Write an essay of 400 words on one of the following.
Remember all the elements of an essay including a good thesis statement (make it the last sentence of the introductory paragraph), two or three body paragraphs, each with its own topic and concluding sentence, and a title that tries to be both informative and catchy. This essay is half the size of the last one, so shrink up your introduction and concluding paragraph again.
You can write on either causes or effects (depending on the topic). Make sure to narrow the subject down to fit the size of your essay. Feel free to ask me for any clarifications. You can use the examples of causes/effects that Ive included below but, equally, you should feel free to come up with your own.
Remember to have a clearly stated purpose in your thesis statement.
Also remember that this is still a more formal essay (just like assignments 6 and 7), so make sure youre not using contractions/colloquialisms or the first/second person perspective.
Use good concrete detail in each body paragraph (actual injuries, actual fast food restaurants, etc.).
This final essay is worth 10%.
