Examples of a practice situation could include: a direct piece of work, an assessment, a crisis situation, group work, a home visit (online or in person).
The purpose of the task is to demonstrate that you are able to critically analyse and apply theories and knowledge to a practice situation. The focus should be on analysis, rather than description.
Choose one or two theories, methods or models and one or two skills. Apply your knowledge and understanding of these to the practice situation.

THE SITUATION TO ANALYSE
my service user suffers from anexity whilst I was doing direct work with them they made a disclosure to me that they are being physically abused at home. I chose to analyse this situation as i was really emotional after the session and told my practice educator. However the situation also made me feel good about myself as the service user felt comfortable enough to share this with me as they hadnt with the other workers they were assigned.
