Create your own manifesto in response to our current situation. What kind of theatre do you think is necessary to respond to our world? What do we need more of? Less of? How should that theatre be done, witnessed, shared? The manifesto can be a text.
The manifesto, when read, should not exceed 3 minutes!
Does it need to be related to theatre? Yes, to a certain extent, but you could be arguing that we dont need theatre at all anymore, that it is a dead art, if that is what you wanted. You could argue for a theatre that does not take place on stage, etc.
The idea is that you, like all the other manifesto writers we have studied thus far, first need to identify what you think is no longer working about theatre and society at large. Then you can boldly describe what you want instead.
