Create powerpoint presentation (20-30 slides with notes) about Dyslexia
Your presentation should include: a discussion of the disability-etiology, characteristics, school-based supports, etc. of the handicapping condition assigned
minimum of three strategies to help students with dyslexia (direct instruction);
samples and examples of those strategies should be included
Use a grade appropriate trade book to demonstrate the strategies.
DO NOT focus on technology or software.
Discuss research in the field of literacy that supports the use of strategies you have chosen. Include excerpts from the text in your discussion.
