Please provide an essay describing how you as a health care provider or educator have ties to the community, have an understanding of why the patient population is underserved, will address access to health care issues, and how your experiences will change health care outcomes of the patient population you or your students will be serving. Per state preference is given to those applicants who can demonstrate cultural competencies.
