Select an assessment tool that is commonly used in your chosen counseling specialty area (mental health, p-12 setting; rehabilitation). In 3-4 pages provide a detailed descriiption of the assessment. All assessments must receive prior approval from the instructor. The descriiption of your assessment should include the following:
Purpose of the test or how it can be used as a counseling tool;
Type of Assessment (name and explain)
Standardization;
Administration/Setting;
Scales/descriiption;
Statistical Concepts
Scoring Procedures;
Psychometric Properties (reliability & validity);
Multicultural and Ethical Considerations
Strengths and Weaknesses
Additional Information (optional)
Along with your paper, you are expected to include a copy of the assessment instrument and a reference list (at least 5 references) in APA format. Please adhere to all copyrights.
Support your final project with specific references to all resources used in its preparation. This assignment should be completed using APA formatting. Requirement: When you submit your assignment in GeorgiaView, use the naming convention FinalProj+last name+first initial as the Submission Title.
Be mindful that I used the MMPI 3 for a previous assignment and I am using the MMPI system itself to discuss here. Please do not use any of the previously submitted MMPI 3 information. I have attached the document previously submitted as well for your reference.
