There has been a long history of problems with government-operated forensic laboratories. You will have read articles about some of the problems and the resulting injustices. Find and discuss at least one article about a recent problem (within the past 10 years) with a government laboratory. Discuss three steps that should be taken to improve the publics confidence in the laboratories. Try to find a laboratory that would serve as a model for other laboratories should try to follow.
