may not take up more than 1/3 of the page length (i.e., 1 page of a 3 page paper). You must include at
least 5 references with parenthetical citations.
Discuss the origins and current state of mRNA technology. Some specific questions to focus on: What is
the origin of mRNA as a laboratory tool? (Dont get too hung up on this one, its a little contentious.)
How does mRNA function and how is it delivered to cells? What are the general safety and efficacy
concerns with mRNA as a therapeutic tool? How is this technology currently being used? You may also
include information you find on plans for future research and therapeutic drug trials.
