I choose the local government of North Carolina. The government of North Carolina is Ray Cooper. Governor Ray Cooper and his administration focused on working on flooded mapping key areas and moving elevation homes that are at risk of future hurricanes. Governor Cooper created a new agency. the North Carolina office of Recovery and Resiliency, to help that states rebuild stronger and smarter. He has requested billions of dollars in additional help recovering from Hurricane Florence and also wants to invest to prepare for future disasters.
From an article dated August 2021, people seem to really like the governor, as he stands with the people and has strong faith beliefs which many people follow. He loves the veterans and the military. I believe this government is going a good job based on its approval rate. As far as letting the local government know of something that should change. I believe that there are so many job openings that food stamps or any other type of government funding given to those in poverty should only be given to those who have medical reasons and cannot work. These people who want to stay at home just because they can are ridiculous and should not be happening. I believe that people should want to work for their families and provide for them the best life they can. My way to reach out to the administration would be to send a letter or an email expressing my concerns to them. I would also ask for a reply back to be put into consideration

State governments work in order to provide for the state, as well as working along with the national government in order to keep the structure balanced. State government official and vital to the structure of our government because they work to provide funding for infrastructure such as roads, buildings, or schools. The state government also is in charge of public pensions, public assistance, correction centers and transportation. The head of the state government is currently Brian Kemp. The government of Georgia is currently working on several initiatives such as; maximize taxpayer value with conservative budgeting, cut obsolete, unnecessarily burdensome, and bureaucratic hurdles for small business, and crack down on gang activity and human trafficking affecting every community across Georgia. I would say there is a mixed perception of our state government. Some people agree with how the government in being run, but there are some that are disappointed in some of the things that have occurred while Kemp is in office as governor. My opinion on the local government is that the governor is good, but I do think there are some people in power that do not need to be there. I also think that the government should work a little harder on some of the initiatives that are laid out for state government. Me personally, I do not have any concerns about our state government, but that is mainly because I do not follow and keep up with the news for our state regularly. Although, if I did have a concern, I would mail a letter to the capital regarded my concern. There is an address on the state government website that is designed to accept letters, emails, and other forms of communication for concerns from the states citizens.
