You will be writing a 6-8 page analysis on a historical figure or school of thought in psychology. You will describe the development of the person or movement in its historical context and will provide a critical analysis on them. This analysis may include:
What factors contributed to this person/school of thought becoming so prominent
What were some of the contributions to the state of psychology of this person/school of thought (how did it/they change psychology)
What is the relevance (if any) of this person/school of thought in modern psychology
You will need to include a minimum of 6 sources, two of which MUST BE PRIMARY SOURCES from the person in question. The other four should be legitimate academic sources (i.e. not Wikipedia or webpages).
Papers should be in APA format. Please consult the APA manual for details on the appropriate formatting. I will be conducting a brief exercise in class to test your proficiency in APA format and answer any questions you may have.
