It is designed for the student to research cultures and associated nursing care to better understand the evidence supporting care of various cultures. Things that can be discussed are the Socio economic factors and cultural influences on health beliefs and practices, articulate a biblical worldview of health, illness, suffering, and compassion and caring for diverse populations, and explore the impact of cultural beliefs on the healthcare needs of groups across the lifespan.
