You would want to go into some detail in describing these political parties and showing the changes (if any) they have undergone through time. From there, comparing them to other political parties related to socialism and communism would work to show key differences and similarities. As for success, you would have to go off of how European leaders / policymakers have been reacting to these parties. You can add, in your conclusion, some space to include your own opinion based on what you have read / researched (not based on biases but backed with fact), but it would be a difficult judgment call on any single writers part to declare these political parties a failure or success.
This is for a 300-level (upper level) Politics of Western Europe class so the content needs to be centered around political structure and implications, with a thesis that dissects the history of the region and these parties. The dissection of this history doesnt need to be extensive, Id prefer if more focus was put on comparing the success or public acceptance of these parties, and the political implications for modern day.
