The signature assignment for the course is a research proposal. After selecting a topic relevant to public administration, public health, and/or public education, and securing approval from the instructor, students will write a literature review following the parameters listed below:

An APA formatted abstract (200300 words)
The body of the proposal
o Background, problem statement, and purpose statement
o Research questions and subordinate questions
o Hypotheses for quantitative study
o Thematic literature Review
o Proposed research method and design
A complete reference list
