The topic that I chose for my LLA is about Vocational Nursing. Although doing so, I will be focused on Subtopic one: Describe overcoming limited resources (time constraints, inadequate staffing, and limited budget) to ensure patients received quality care.
I am a nurse who works in a mental health unit in Miami FL, these two years with this pandemic have been chaotic. The impact of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic has been wide-ranging and continually changing, and it has transformed how many of us function in the workplace (Larkin Community Hospital). Even in the mental health unit, nurses and staff learn how to care for and deal with patients not only with mentally ill problems with positive for covid 19 as well. One of the reasons I chose this topic and subtopic is that the actual problem that all nurses are experimenting with is the Covid 19 pandemic around the world and the shortest of the staff to provide excellent and efficient care to maintain and increase positive health outcomes of patients.
