This is an extremely detailed research study and time sensitive. the due date indicated is for the first part of the paper. A SAMPLE PAPER is attached as well. Please follow this formatting style. As we move forward in the paper, we will communicate and i will let you know new dates. the full paper needs to be completed by December 2nd. The survey has not yet been administered and the paper is due in pieces. Revisions may be necessary. The survey link is https://forms.gle/FT3tT19EwkKBCRFi6 and will be given to the class to survey. 2 articles are attached. you will need to find 1 more scholarly articles. Draft of paper attached it includes all articles that are cited. they are the only ones permitted plus 1 more. any other article referencesd will need to be removed from the paper and the citations as they are not approved by the professor- will need to make revisions to this based on the professors feedback which was Please only use the 3 research articles I approved. You have to many references here. Your lit review should be drawn from just the 3 articles I approved. The only other source you should have is something current in 2021 about percentage of Americans who participate in PAS , ho w many states allow some basic background data. . Provide an Introduction to your Research topic that defines the problem under study citing some statistics, prior research studies that validate the need for your research. Describe and define the area under study. Included in this discussion should be: a rationale for why this area of research is important, and a clear and precise statement of the problem. (10 Points) 2. Describe the relationship of the selected problem area to a theoretical framework and/or previous research that is related to the problem area. (Lit Review). The Lit review should draw from 4 Scholarly Peer-reviewed research Articles. You want to pull from the FINDINGS only of those studies and cite the authors in a way that indicates the validation for your hypotheses, methods and approach. (20 points) 3. Develop and state the hypothesis that has been selected for your study. Distinguish the independent from the dependent variables. Remember, this is a written paper so you are to write complete sentences. For example, the authors of this study established 2 hypotheses. The first one was . (explain it and identify the independent and dependent variables). The second hypothesis. (15 points) This is what is not included in the attached paper 4. Describe the methodology of data collection and your sample. Construct a questionnaire to obtain information relevant to the hypothesis. . State the population to which the hypothesis is related and specify the size, type and method of drawing the sample to be used. This should include the who, what, where, how, when of your sample and setting. Two members of our group went to (types of classes), obtained permission from the teacher, entered data into SPSS, performed statistical analyses of findings that included descriptive tables, cross-tabs, and hypothesis-testing if time allows. BE SURE TO HAVE your articles out so you can see the flow of words indicated in each section. I want you to tell me how you operationally defined and measured your concepts and variables. For example, to measure stress- eating, we created a stress-eating scale with 5 questions and a Likert-scale indicating 1 (Strongly Agree); 2 (Somewhat Agree) 3 (Neither Agree or Disagree) 4 (Strongly Disagree) and continue to explain how you measured each IV and DV. THIS IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST SECTIONS, but it is very easy and can be clearly written. (30 Points) 5. Findings/Analyze results. Construct appropriate tables and/or graphs. Explain the results of your project. Did you obtain the hypothesized results? (If applies based on time-constraints). (15 points) 6. Data Analysis: You will create a data file using SPSS and will code, enter and analyze data. You will generate frequency distribution, cross tabulations and will run appropriate statistical procedures to test project hypotheses. Tables will be constructed and results will be presented.
