This research essay is for my Art History course. My proffessor stated she just wants a well written 8-10 page essay on our chosen topic that shows our knowlegege and research of the topic. I stated I would research American quilts and quiltmaking before 1900. Composition, materials used, and context must all be discussed, as well as distinguishing and catagorizing them from certain years, genres, utilitarian vs. ornate, etc.
