The Budget assignment: After you have individually answered these questions, develop a combined PowerPoint (10-12 slides) that gives your responses to these questions. These final presentations should include a minimum of one reference per student from this weeks content. In your work setting, who is responsible for developing the budget? Who is responsible for implementation of the budget and keeping your area on track? Identify and discuss two strategies nurse leaders could use to justify budget variances related to staffing, patient care needs, community health needs, system needs, rate variances, and/or other issues.
