The theme of our course this semester is metamorphosis. For your final essay, youll consider character transformation through the lens of our course texts.
Prompt: Can people change? And/or are we born with characteristics that determine our fate?
For this essay, you must use 6 of our course texts* from at least 4 different genres/forms of literature (poetry, drama, film, fiction, nonfiction, and hybrids).
List the stories, books, and poems you consult under Works Cited. Successful essays will use strong quotes from these texts to support their thesis statements.
