Write a paper that is at least 6 and no more than 10 pages in length, double spaced,
1 inch margins, 12pt Times New Roman or 11pt Ariel font in which you discuss your
interview data and provide an assessment of some of the psychological, social, cultural,
familial, and professional issues related to the person and their family’s response and
adjustment to the disability. Using the framework of family systems theory and the
social-ecological model, review the course topics and issues we have discussed over the
semester; what themes emerged through your interview? What concepts helped you
understand and interpret this person/family’s experience? These themes should be
analyzed and discussed at length with references to material from our readings, and from
your interview data. You do not need to use outside sources, but if you do, they must be
from academic journal articles. All sources must be properly cited using the APA
format. You must provide a Reference List.
