This question is based on your readings about Saint Thecla, the Martyr Polycarp

This question is based on your readings about Saint Thecla, the Martyr Polycarp and the Martyrs from Vienne and Lyons. It has two parts. Answer both parts as completely as you can.
First, After reading The Acts of Thecla, The Martyrdom of Polycarp and The Letter from Vienne and Lyons, think about basic characteristics that the heroes of these stories have in common. Then, name at least two of those characteristics and discuss how you see each of them exhibited by Thecla, Polycarp and Blandina.
Second, there are also persons in our modern day (20th century and onward) who are considered Saints or Martyrs within their own traditions (some Christian; some other faith traditions). Name at least one and describe how this person exhibit(ed) the same characteristics that you saw in these ancient Saints/Martyrs (Thecla, Polycarp, Blandina).
This paper should be double-spaced, 12 point font. Approximately 3 pages. If your not familiar with these 3 readings or dont want to do reserach please dont put an offer up. Also, if your well rounded in this stuff or you can attempt to go ahead and share some opinions (ntohing too crazy though) as long as it relates/coneys a good asset to the paper, point is I don’t want the essay to come off just like robotic and ungenuine.
