A working title
A statement of the topic of the thesis in terms of a question to be asked, a problem to be explored, or a hypothesis to be tested
How do you plan to break it into sections, and what are the sections?
The scope of the study, the methods or approaches to be used, and the materials or data to be used in research
A statement, however provisional, of the importance of the topic. What will this thesis accomplish and why does it matter?
A preliminary bibliography.
The prospectus should be at least five pages (one page per bullet-point above) long (double-spaced).
