Which scholarly text you will start with
A summary of the text
Critical elements from text that must remain to maintain message
Newly identified audience: knowledge level, needs, potential questions the reader may have about the content (this cannot be an advanced audience), how they may use the text, how the text will be delivered to this audience (print, email, social media, etc.)
How you plan to re-purpose the text (what will the new form look like)
What tools you will use to create repurposed text
This memo should follow standard memo conventions. If you are unsure about what this means, consult the textbook or run a quick Google search on standard memo formatting.
