As I mentioned in the syllabus, you need to write a convincing essay on a topic of your choice using
proper MLA formatting. The essay should be 3 pages and contain a thesis statement in introduction. You
need to support your thesis statement by good reasons and examples. You should use at least one of
the assigned essays or chapters in your essay. Double-space the text of your essay and use a legible font like Times New Roman. The font size should be 12 pt. Use legitimate and academic sources to write your essay (use books or JSTOR) and cite them properly according to MLA format. Use at least one of the assigned essays or chapters in the class as your source.
