1) Are you capable of rational decision-making? 2) Are you able to command your own actions (i.e. exercise free will)? Try to really think this through and it will help you evaluate whether Kant is right that 1) ethics should be based on reason, and 2) we have a duty to act rationally, because we have the freedom and ability to do so.
